Christmas is my time of year. People often look at my very strangely when I tell them I’m not a summer person but for me, winter is where it’s at. All I want to do is wear big jumpers, boots, drink hot chocolate and most importantly get ready for the best day of the year by a mile.
This year, time has flown by and I think the saying ‘time flies when you’re having fun’ is very apt.
I am struggling with the fact that it only feels like yesterday it was Easter and all of a sudden we are planning our NYE night out.
For me, this Christmas has been one of the best and one of the worst. I only say worst because I’ve been ill throughout and not been feeling my usual excited self. What’s worse is I could hardly taste my Christmas dinner… You know that’s never good.
On the other hand, I’ve had so many plans, seen so many people and just had the best time celebrating the festive period. Yes, I now have about £2 to my name but my goodness it was worth it. There have been plenty of meals, drinks, brunches, cinema trips, shopping days, food fuelled afternoons and lots of time spent with family.
I hope everyone has had a magical time this year and that you’re all looking forward to your NYE plans.
Here’s a little insight into my Christmas.
